For sale this 1987 RG500 CH. It was rebuilt using 100% OEM stock RG500 parts. Peaky power band, amazing feel and sound, this is what you can expect of this model. 498 cc, the engine has been tuned up but never rebored. Stock exhausts in amazing shape. You can read on the speedo less than 40.000 km but I can not be sure about this. Original fairing has been repainted to stock color with OEM stickers. All rust from the gas tank has been removed. Handling is very good with crispy brakes, wheels straight, frame straight There are new brake pads front and back. Bike runs awesome, original suzuki gaskets, inspected the rotor valve anti friction layer, and its perfect, motor is very low hours overall.
Cassette transmission and clutch was also inspected and is perfect. Stock clutch and shifting is excellent. Completely new Bridgestone battleaxe tires. Unlike most of the gammas that are in dis-repair, this one needs nothing. It has been measured over 220 km/h in Jerez motor-track. All the bodywork is OEM and in good condition for being 27 years old, some small cracks dents, barely visible. The 100% original bellypan is mounted although not visible in all the pictures.
Just the complete 100% original bodywork is an amazing finding and it costs hundreds or thousands of euros. Now add this to a fully functioning and exhalarating bike and you will fit the bill.
Clear spanish paperwork in my name, can be registered anywhere in the EU I believe
Possible exchanges: Laverda, Norton Commando, Honda CBX 1000, Benelli Sei or as a sample modern models such as Ducati Sport Classic, Ducati MH (registered in Spain and restaured)
