A finales de los años 50, Barreiros ofrecía una fuerte competencia obligando a ENASA a mejorar su oferta. De ésta manera se sustituyó el emblemático Barajas por el Pegaso Comet. En los años 70 se revolucionó el diseño en muchos de sus conceptos así como la imagen personal de la marca, las nuevas cabinas y su chapa ondulada saltaban la alarma de una nueva generación. El modelo evolucionaría a 1098 LDR con un motor Leyland al hoy conocido como Super Comet.
Los Comet eran capaces de adaptarse a casi todas las situaciones imaginables con un motor diésel de 6 cilindros en línea, rendía 125 CV con 12 velocidades. En condiciones muy favorables la velocidad punta era 98km/h.
Éste vehículo ha sido sometido a una completa restauración, con un mejorado motor, pintura, tapicería y su volquete renovado con madera de pino de sierra.

This Pegaso, like all vehicles marketed by MM CLASICOS, is located in STOCK at our Quintanar de la Sierra facility in Burgos where you can see and try.
In the late 1950s, Barreiros offered strong competition, forcing ENASA to improve its offer. In this way the emblematic Barajas was replaced by Pegaso Comet. In the 70's, the design was revolutionized in many of its concepts as well as the personal image of the brand, the new cabins and its corrugated plate jumped the alarm of a new generation. The model would evolve to 1098 LDR with a Leyland engine today known as Super Comet.
The Comets were able to adapt to almost every imaginable situation with an inline 6-cylinder diesel engine, yielding 125 hp with 12 speeds. In very favorable conditions the top speed was 98km / h.
This vehicle has undergone a complete restoration, with an improved engine, paint, upholstery and its tipper renovated with saw pine wood.
