We would like to take you back to March 15, 1961. On this special day the Jaguar E-type was introduced to the public for the very first time at the Geneva Motor Show.
It was also during this Motor Show that none other than Enzo Ferrari himself this car;
"The most beautiful car ever built".

After the many racing successes in the 1950s during the 24-hour Le Mans with the Jaguar D-type, Jaguar Cars decided to develop a successor for the Jaguar XK150. It was designer Malcolm Sawyer who was responsible for the revolutionary body design.

The Jaguar E-type was introduced with two body variants; a coupé and a convertible. The Series 1 was built from 1961 to 1968, cars from 1967 and 1968 are unofficial called Series 1.5.

The restoration of this Jaguar E-type has taken place in the own restoration department of E&R Classics, called E&R - Classic Car Restorations. In our own restoration department we have all the facilities at hand to restore classic sports cars to the highest level. Paintwork, sheet metal work, upholstery, engine overhaul, gearbox overhaul. It is professionally restored to the last detail and/or overhauled by specialized technicians.

This Jaguar E-type Series 1 Convertible was delivered to the first owner in 1964.
The car is of course equipped with the matching numbers 3.781cc 6-cylinder engine which is coupled to the original manual 4-speed gearbox.
The paintwork is Opalescent Gun Metal Gray and the interior features dark blue leather upholstery made from the best skins available, a feast for the eyes. The Sonnenland soft top is dark blue.
Immediately after taking a seat you will find yourself completely back in the 60’s with the beautiful wooden steering wheel, the clocks and the switches in the dashboard. Beautiful to see. It will give a wide smile on your face during every ride. When you turn the key and press the start button, this smile will turn into a big grin. The Jaguar growls... Ready for miles of asphalt on beautiful roads.
